Laura Stefanizzi graduated cum laude in Computer Engineering at the University of Salento (Italy) in April 2012. Her thesis concerned the definition and validation of an energy-efficient MAC scheduler for Wireless Sensor Networks. Since January 2009 she collaborate with IDA Lab - IDentification Automation Laboratory of the University of Salento. She is currently a PhD candidate at the Department of Innovation Engineering of University of Salento, and since October 2014 she is a visiting scholar at DEIB of Politecnico of Milano, where she collaborates with Prof. Luca Mottola. The current research activity carried out at Politecnico di Milano is focused on the design and development of a support system for smartphone-connected accessories.
